Since 1989, Tim and Tricia have been involved in Pastoral ministry at New Life Tabernacle. In 1999, Tim was elected the senior pastor and a new church was built shortly thereafter. Pastor Tim has led the church during some times of testing, as the church transitioned from a legalistic, denominational affiliation to a non-denominational, Spirit-filled position. Through it all, God's grace has been the guiding light as the church continues on an upward trend, both spiritually and numerically.
Pastor Tim believes in being an active member of his community. As a civic leader, Tim has held or currently holds positions with the Herald Leader newspaper as a columnist for 10 years; a member of the board of directors for the Siloam Springs Manna Center, a non-profit charity; member of the Siloam Springs Hospital Board of Governors; Chaplain for the Arkansas State Police - 11 years; Chaplain for Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital; and Chaplain for Siloam Springs Fire Dept. In his former affiliation Tim was a denominational leader. He continues to be called upon as an effective communicator to leaders and para-church organizations. Pastor Tim is an ordained minister with Global Network of Christian Ministries.
Tricia is a most amazing, energetic pastor's wife. She leads the praise team at NLT and is an asset to the various aspects of pastoral ministry. Tricia has a degree in Christian Education. She is also very involved in the community. She is currenlty the chairperson for the National Day of Prayer Committee for Siloam Springs and is a volunteer at the Siloam Springs Manna Center. Tricia is heavily involved in the public school system and is a role model for many young ladies. You will not find a more loving, caring individual than our pastor's wife. Her husband calls her..."The greatest Christian I have ever known!"
Tim and Tricia have two amazing children, both top level students and musicians. Kendra, their daughter was born in 1990 and leads the youth praise band. She is also involved in various scholastic groups at school and serves as VP for Nat'l Honor Society. Justin, their son, was born in 1992 and excels in music and academics. Both children have been published in the national "Who's Who Among Outstanding Middle School Students" and the "National Honor Roll" publications. The Estes family enjoys relaxed evenings together, trips to the lake and holiday snow skiing. Their home revolves around daily prayer and devotion to the work of the church.
If you should visit NLT, you will find a church of loving, caring people led by a man who understands and extends the grace of God to all who enter. Pastor Tim's ministry focuses on the power of the cross and how it relates to making you all you can be in this life and preparing you for the life to come. Come enjoy teaching and preaching that is served up straight from the heart of this man of God.
